  • 연구실소개

    본 연구실은 다양한 생리 활성을 지닌 천연물의 전합성 및 합성 방법론에 대하여 연구하고 있다. 합성 경로 확보 후 유도체를 합성하여 다양한 치료목적을 지닌 의약품 개발을 모색한다. 다양한 골격 특히 pyrimidine 골격 및 imidazole 모핵을 가지는 화합물 라이브러리를 합성하여 생리활성을 탐색하고 화합물의 작용기전을 밝히는 연구를 수행하고 있다.

    현재 지방 세포의 분화를 조절하는 것으로 알려진 천연물의 전합성 경로를 확보하였고 유도체들을 합성하는 중이다. 항암활성을 가지는 chalcone 및 triazole 화합물들을 합성하였다. 세포보호 활성을 가지는 천연물을 전합성하여 colitis를 예방하는 약물로 개발 중이며 UV에 대한 세포 보호활성을 탐색중이다. RNA의 micro-satellite의 expansion으로 인해 MBNL-1 단백질과 결합함으로 인해서 생기는 Myotonic Dystrophy 1 질환의 치료제를 개발하고 있다. 미생물에서 특이하게 나타나는 toxin-anti-toxin system을 저분자화합물로 조절하는 새로운 개념의 항생물질을 개발하는 연구를 수행하고 있다.
